Sara and I took the kids down to Arizona to see their Grandparents, the desert and to search out some neat things for Beds & Borders. We found lots of rocks, plants, and pottery (in Mexico) that will be heading this way come March! Check out some fun pictures below.

The only Cactus I could find in here that would live in Minnesota is the Prickly Pear.

Quartz and Mica swirled or pressed together? I’m guessing Metamorphic in nature….
This plant will survive without any leaves for most of the year. There is enough Chlorophyll in the branches to produce its food.
