- The initial consultation is important because it provides us with some time to get together, share ideas, and get to know each other. It also allows us to determine the scope of the project. Scope is critical because it reveals project length, complexity and potential costs. Do not hesitate to ask us questions regarding any part of the project. We are very up-front and want you to have a high comfort level with us and the project at all times.
- Our second meeting involves the presentation of the design and estimate. There could be possible costs for design time at this point; this will be established in our initial meeting. Typically a hand sketch is enough for most jobs, but an in-depth design is often necessary to complete more intricate projects.
- During the review of the design/sketch and estimate, we will take note of any changes or revisions that need to be made. We can usually take care of these at the studio the same day and email you an updated estimate within 24 hours. Once the updates have been reviewed and approved, we will send out a contract reflecting the approved estimate. After we receive a signed copy of the contract with the down payment, we will put you down in the books for the first spot available.
